DISASTER AREAS IN INDONESIA.

Now I want to share with you about disaster are in Indonesia.
As we know, Indonesia is a country that is often beset by natural disasters. BNPB noted that natural disasters that occurred in 2019 increased compared to the previous year. Until 27 December 2019, BNPB said there were 3,768 natural disasters in Indonesia.Natural disasters can take many lives and lose valuable property. Disasters can be caused by human actions towards nature, where the lack of human concern that damages nature.There are several areas where frequent disasters occur.
1. JAKARTA.
Mount Sinabung (Karo language: Deleng Sinabung) is a volcano in the Karo Plateau, Karo District, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Sinabung along with Mount Sibayak nearby are two active volcanoes in North Sumatra and being the second highest peak in the province. The height of this mountain is 2,451 meters. This volcano has never been recorded erupting since 1600, but was suddenly active again by erupting in 2010. The last eruption of this mountain occurred since February 19 2018 and lasted until now. The disaster caused damage to crops produced by farmers. So that the economy of farmers decreased, due to volcanic ash from volcanic eruptions. Not only that, my volcanic ash can also disrupt the breathing of local residents. The eruption of Mount Sinabung caused thick smoke, where the smoke made it difficult for the local people to breathe and to get fresh air.
Maybe that's all that I can share with you.
Now, you must care about nature in Indonesia, so that the natural wealth in Indonesia is not exhausted and extinct. It is better for us not to litter so that floods do not occur; not conducting random drilling of land, to avoid earthquakes which are caused by shifting underground plates; and we must be able to preserve natural resources in Indonesia.

1. JAKARTA.
Flood in Jakarta
According to BMKG, it was noted that major floods had occurred in Jakarta in January and February 1918, January 1979, February 1996, February 2007, January and February 2013, and the change from 2019 to 2020. It cannot be denied, that Jakarta was often flooded with water.
Many people were displaced and lost their belongings due to the flood.
According to local residents, floods are caused by extreme weather, heavy rainfall. not only that, bulk, littering, and the presence of large buildings are also factors supporting the occurrence of floods in Jakarta. Therefore it is important for us to care about the natural surroundings, by not littering.
2. PALU
Tsunami in Palu
The 2018 earthquake and tsunami in Sulawesi was a 7.4 Mw earthquake followed by a tsunami that struck the western coast of Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, northern part on September 28, 2018, at 18:02 WITA. The epicenter was 26 km north of Donggala and 80 km northwest of the city of Palu, with a depth of 10 km. Earthquake shocks were felt in Donggala, Palu, Parigi Moutong, Sigi, Poso, Tolitoli, Mamuju and even Samarinda, Balikpapan, and Makassar. The earthquake triggered a tsunami to a height of 5 meters in the city of Palu. BNPB announced on October 10 that the death toll had reached 2,045 people, found to be the most in Palu at 1,636 people and followed by Sigi and then Parigi. Meanwhile, there were 82,775 displaced victims and 8,731 refugees who were living outside Sulawesi.
3. LOMBOK
Earthquake in Lombok.
The Lombok earthquake in July 2018 was a 6.4 Mw land earthquake that struck Lombok Island, Indonesia on July 29, 2018, at 06.47 WITA. The epicenter was 47 km northeast of Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara with a depth of 24 km. Earthquake shocks were felt in all areas of Lombok Island, Bali Island, and Sumbawa Island. Data from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) said 20 people died. One of them is a Malaysian citizen, as well as 401 other people injured. At least 10,062 houses were affected by this earthquake.Damage occurred in a number of buildings. Material losses occurred, namely 1,454 houses, 7 units of education facilities, 22 places of worship, 5 units of health, 37 stalls, and 1 damaged bridge. To the community, Dwikorita Karnawati, Head of the BMKG Center, as reported by Antara, has appealed to remain calm, do not panic, and not to occupy buildings damaged by the earthquake.
